In Opposition wird er am 3.3.2012 sein. Nun ist Mars bei seinen Oppositionen nicht immer gleich weit von der Erde entfernt, da gibt es &#8220;gute&#8221; und &#8220;schlechte&#8221; Oppositionen.<br \/>\nDie Marsbahn ist relativ exzentrisch, der Mars erreicht seinen sonnenn\u00e4chsten Punkt um Ende August herum. Wenn zu dieser Zeit die Erde gerade den Mars innen \u00fcberholt, er also dann in Opposition steht, dann ist er knapp 0,37 AE von der Erde entfernt. Wenn die Marsopposition aber dann ist, wenn der Mars sich gerade an seinem sonnenfernsten Punkt befindet, dann liegt die Entfernung bei ungef\u00e4hr 0,68 AE. 2012 ist eine schlechte Marsopposition.
